A lot of people in this business don’t understand just how important setting goals for yourself actually is. I actually started implementing goal setting in the middle of 2011 (like actually seriously started writing them down and posting them), and it resulted in a drastic increase in my income, over a half million dollars in less then half a year.

So the goal for 2012 for me is to hit a million dollars. I’ve never had a million dollar year, although I have got about half way there. This is a goal that’s going to be tough to reach, but at the same time it’s very achievable.

I think there are a lot of people that have set goals for themselves, but they haven’t taken it seriously, so I don’t really count that as setting goals.

Because I myself have “set goals” before – but I didn’t take them nearly as seriously as I did last time.

This time I set the goals, I wrote them down, I mapped out how I was going to achieve them, and I put them in a few different locations in my house where I work so that I can always look at them before I start or as I am working. This is so important to remind yourself what you’re doing and what you’re going after.

Another important part of setting your goals is to know the WHY of your goals. Personally, for me, I first started setting my goals when I found out my first child was on the way. I really use him for my motivation – and as for the biggest reasons for making myself achieve my goals in 2012. Because if I achieve my goals, my son has a much better chance at succeeding in life and being able to do what he wants to do in life.

So this is what I recommend you do. Set goals for yourself in 2012.

But don’t just set them and forget them – set them, write them down, map them out – and post them around your house and work place. This has helped me tremendously in the last half a year.

I can’t say this is the main reason I’ve mad over a half million dollars in less than 6 months, but I can say that it has played a part in it.

It’s so much easier to achieve your goals when you actually have them set beforehand – have them mapped out – and have them somewhere where you are consistently seeing them!

Hey everyone – I know it’s been a while since I I have posted to MeLoveMoney.com and the changes that are soon coming are WAY overdue. Basically I am going to cover everything that I think will help you make money online – and I will be covering all different kinds of ways to make money online. I want to concentrate on ways to make money online with little to no investment, as I know that most people who want to begin making money on the internet don’t really have much (if any) money to invest.

As I stated earlier I have been working with some high end SEO clients, doing SEO consulting, local marketing, and small niche sites over the passed few months – and I’ve been working extremely hard at it. BUT I also want you to know that there ARE a couple negatives to Unique Article Wizard, besides nothing can be perfect unfortunately…

1. Negative #1 is the price. UAW is a monthly service which costs $67 a month, leading many beginners to not be able to afford it. This is very unfortunate for those that can not afford UAW as UAW is just so powerful and gives you such an advantage over the competition. So even though the price is well worth it, I would say the price has to be the biggest negative aspect of a UAW membership.
2. Negative #2 is that you actually need “3 articles” for one round of submission (which gets you hundreds of back links and hundreds of unique articles). Even though many people say “turn A (as in a single) article into hundreds of back links and hundreds of unique articles”, it’s actually turning 3 versions of a single article into this. You have to “re-write” the article twice, which in reality is 3 unique articles. Splitting Up Your Time Efficiently

Last post we talked about how you should be Being Efficient With Your Internet Business, and I want to kind of continue off of that post in a somewhat different direction, which is talking about splitting up your time efficiently between different online tasks for your business.

Also last post I talked about two very important companies that I just all all credit to as far as guiding me in this business. Without the two of these companies I would be no where even close to the amount of income that I am making on the internet, and I feel like I owe them for my internet marketing career, as they have simply been a godsend as far as guidance go.

But I want to remind everyone that just because these two companies are simply the best in the world as far as guiding and training goes for the internet businesses, they will NOT do the work for you. No one will.

No matter how good of a guidance system you find out there (and you will NOT find any better than Wealthy affiliate or Worldwide Brands), YOU are still going to have to do the work. YOU are still going to have to be the one to put in YOUR time. YOU are going to have to be the one to dig deep and find all the motivation, determination, and drive that you can find within yourself, because it will take all of these things to get an income going.

But with that said, proper guidance is still tremendously important for success in this business. Because if you have proper guidance, then you can be much more efficient with your internet business (Internet Marketing Tools I Use).

Without proper guidance you will often find yourself lost and not knowing what to do. You will often find yourself just looking at your computer screen not knowing what direction to take next. And you will often see absolutely no return for your hard work, so your hard work will be useless.

And this is why it’s so important to be efficient with your time. I’ll take efficiency over hard work any day, as it’s much more productive. Because if you work hard with no efficiency then you are just going to spin your wheels. You NEED efficiency to succeed in this internet business which is so competitive.

And before moving on to how to split up your time efficiently, I want to name these two businesses.

The first of these business is one that you have most likely heard a lot about if you have been in the internet marketing business for any amount of time as they are so rightfully popular. And the name of this company is Wealthy Affiliate University. And I think that this is such a proper name for Kyle and Carson’s membership site, as it really is like an online university.

The way they have everything setup is just like you are in school, which is definitely a good thing. Everything is so organized and so easy to learn, which is a very good thing for you. They also just have SO much information, which can be both a good thing and a bad thing in some cases. But in this case it’s a good thing, because of their great organization skills. You will not get lost in the shuffle, not knowing which information to read, because they do a great job at directing you on where to start, and they hold your hand all the way through the process.

The second company is a company started by Chris Malta almost 10 years ago, Worldwide Brands. If you know anything about the drop shipping business or the e-commerce business then you have most likely heard of Worldwide Brands because they are the largest, most powerful, and most effective force in the drop shipping and e-commerce business. Not only do they have the most drop shipping suppliers and drop shipping products to offer, but they have hours and hours of video which train you and school you on the drop shipping and e-commerce business.

The difference between these two companies is that of course Worldwide Brands covers the drop shipping half of the business, and Wealthy Affiliate covers general internet marketing – and they cover EVERYTHING about internet marketing whereas most training sites cover just one particular area of the business.

Now that I have mentioned the two companies that helped me learn this business, I want to get into how you can go about splitting up your time efficiently in order to make the most out of your business.

A lot of people don’t have any idea how important efficiency is as I mentioned in my last post listed in the first paragraph. This is very unfortunate, as if they did they would be a lot more productive (Why Most New Internet Marketers Fail).

Now how you split up your time with your internet business depends on a few different things. It depends on what kind of project you are doing, how many projects you are doing, and how much you know about the internet marketing business.

I’m just going to split this up the easiest way that I think you will all be able to get the most out of it no matter what level of internet marketer you are. I will split it up between beginner and non-beginner internet marketers.

Lets start with the beginner internet marketer.

Splitting Up Your Time Efficiently: Beginner Internet Marketers

As a beginner, splitting up your time is a little bit easier than the other two, especially if you have proper guidance. If you have a great guidance system in place such as Wealthy Affiliate, then splitting up your time efficiently is as easy as pie.

As a beginner your focus is learning this business. As a beginner there’s not much you want to actually act on AT FIRST. And I’m talking about all the way in the beginning, like the first few weeks.

At the first few weeks, and I’m talking about this literally as the first few weeks, splitting up your time efficiently is extremely easy. And that’s because you are not going to be splitting up your time at all. All of your time is going to be spent learning about this business, and that’s it. If you’ve decided to join Wealthy Affiliate, use that time to go through the Wealthy Affiliates Action Plan, which is a learning course that is laid out for you to easily follow.

As the weeks go on, you should slowly be spending more time putting the information you are learning to use. But when I say slowly, I mean very slowly. After the first month, spend 70% of your time learning, and 30% implementing. And when you are learning and reading, make sure you are comprehending what you are reading. If you have to, re-read the information multiple times.I don’t care if it takes 10 times of reading the same thing, because you have to learn it (Recent Changes In The Google Algorithm).

Especially things like keyword research, link building, search engine optimization, and traffic generation. You have to learn these things to be successful in this business.

At two months you should be splitting up your time equally for a couple months. So from about 2-4 months split your time between learning and implementing. After that, go up to about 80% implementing and 20% learning.

Now these numbers are just basic estimates of what you should be doing and should not be taken as exact literal numbers that you should be doing. Just try to do somewhere around these amounts as you progress through your internet marketing business and I guarantee you it will improve your chances highly (note that this is based on you working about 2-3 hours a day on the internet).

The one thing that I want all beginners to understand is that it’s extremely important to spend a lot of time reading and learning this business when you are first starting. I know that you want to jump in and start making money right away, but that’s just not how this business works.

You need to be prepared to put in months and months of work before you start seeing any type of income from your internet marketing efforts and business, so you need to be prepared for that. Be prepared to “work for free” when you are first starting out. And be prepared to do a lot of learning and reading when first starting (What It Takes To Succeed Online).

And again, I know it’s not much fun reading and reading and reading, but it’s a step in this business that needs to be done in order to learn how to properly setup and succeed with an internet marketing business.

Splitting Up Your Time Efficiently: Non-Beginner Internet Marketer

Splitting up your time as a non-beginner internet marketer (which I will now start calling an advanced internet marketer as it sounds better, even if you are intermediate or expert) is a little bit more confusing because you are mostly passed the learning stage and are almost fully in the implementation stage.

With that said, it’s important to know that there is always something to learn in this business, so you should always be spending SOME time learning. But as you progress to an advanced internet marketer, MOST of your time should be spent implementing. I would say that at least 75% of your time should be spent implementing, I personally recommend between 90% and 95% implementation.

I think that one of the largest mistakes of an advanced internet marketer is indeed spending too much time “learning”. And I put learning in quotation marks for a reason (Also Doba is another drop shipping company I forgot to mention before I get too far I wanted to mention it).

I put learning in quotation marks in this case because I am talking about a specific phase of learning. I’m talking about buying into and reading the latest internet marketing products, which is a waste 99% of the time.

I’m talking about all of the internet marketing products that the “big internet marketers” or the “gurus” constantly market to make themselves money. You have to understand that just about all of these products that these “gurus” promote are rehashed information that are made to look like it’s a special new method for making money. And they all take turns promoting this crap to make each other boat loads of money.

Make sure that you do NOT buy into this crap, as doing so will surely not be spending your time efficiently. The time you spend learning should be learning about real internet marketing concepts. And the most of your time spent learning as an advanced internet marketer should be spent learning CHANGES in internet marketing. For example, the panda update – which was SUPER important to understand (I wrote about this with the post Beating Googles Panda Update).

And as I said, most of your time should be spent implementing. As I mentioned in the last post Being Efficient With Your Internet Business, it’s best to write down a list of things that you need to get accomplished either daily or weekly. Personally I like to do a daily log as I seem to get more done this way.

And how you split up your time is not necessarily something I can cover in a lot of detail unfortunately because there are so many different types of projects that you can be running when you are an advanced internet marketer (or intermediate, or expert or whatever you are – I’m just talking about if you’re not a beginner).

There can be all kinds of projects from small adsense sites, large adsense sites, small review sites, large review sites, e-commerce and drop shipping sites, and a whole other range of sites that you can be doing. Also you could be working on multiple projects at once or you could be working on just one project, so it’s kind of hard for me to tell you how to, or I should say recommend how to, split up your time when I don’t know exactly what you have going on.

What I can tell you is that if you are not an advanced marketer with a team of outsourcers, you shouldn’t be running more than a couple projects at one time because you will most likely lose time and waste a lot of time on projects that you’ll never end up finishing.

With that said, if you are just running one project or just a couple project, split up your time between different things. Set aside a certain time for forum marketing, a certain time for blog commenting, a certain time for blog and lens building, a certain time for profile link building, a certain time for article marketing, a certain time for link exchanges, etc etc (Why Back Links Are Important).

Make sure that you get a wide variety of marketing in (like video marketing is a big one I left out, and social marketing, and social bookmarking!) as all of this stuff combined is a lot more powerful just one method a whole bunch. In other words, a little of each is a lot better than one of a lot of them. Trust me, I’ve tested and tested and this is the best practice by far when it comes to SEO.

I’m hoping that this post helps at least some of you even further understand just how important managing your time and making the most of your time is, and helps you understand that it really is important to split up your time efficiently between different SEO implementations and link building techniques (and different things in general).

And I don’t want you to get the wrong idea and think that you should be doing just link building either. You also want to consistently add content and update the content on your site(s) as this is just as important to the search engines as link building is. Some people would even say that it’s more important – and those are the people who claim the phrase “Content Is King”. I’m not sure which the search engines like better, I just try to do both at the best of my ability and not worry about which one is better (Also check out The Rich Jerk if you can’t afford Wealthy Affiliate). Because I just know both are extremely powerful and needed for top search engine rankings (for competitive  to semi-competitive terms at least).

Being Efficient With Your Internet Business

I have mentioned this concept in some of my posts, even in some of my recent posts, that you have to be efficient with your internet business. Even more particularly, you have to be efficient with your time you spend on your internet business. This is especially true for new internet marketers, as you may not have as much time to work on your internet business (Internet Marketing Tools I Use).

This is the case as usually people who are new to internet marketing either have another full or part time job, or they have at home duties. For example, work at home moms who have to take care of the kids and do all of the duties around the house. Things like laundry, folding clothes, doing dishes, cleaning the house, vacuuming, and other household duties that stay at home moms do.

And this is why it’s extremely important for you to be efficient with your internet business, or more specifically to be TIME EFFICIENT with your online business. Because if you are not it’s going to be much harder for you to find success online. Trust me, the more time efficient you are with your business the higher chance you have of being a successful online marketer.

One of the companies that taught me about being efficient with your internet business, and actually the company that taught me pretty much everything that I know about the internet business like keyword research, search engine optimization, traffic generation, product creation, website creation, on page optimization, on page optimization, link building, blog commenting, forum marketing, and all the other aspects of internet marketing that add up to success.

I credit this company with a lot of my success. Although I did the work myself, but without their superior guidance (which I explain is super important in the post What It Takes To Succeed Online) I would not be any where close to as successful as I am today – making over a million dollars in sales in just a couple years. There is one more company that taught me a lot about the other part of the internet business, which is the drop shipping and e-commerce part of the business. Both of these companies taught me the best ways to succeed with the internet marketing and drop shipping businesses, and also about the whole reason of this post – which is being efficient with your internet business.

So how can you be efficient with your internet business? And more specifically how can you be TIME EFFICIENT with your internet marketing or drop shipping business (or both)? And that’s what we will be covering in the rest of this post.

The first part of being time efficient with your online business is knowing what you are doing before you implement actions. What I mean is that you have to first learn the business before you start your business. The reason for this is because if you start your business when you don’t know what you are doing, you are going to be wasting a whole bunch of your time, which is definitely not being efficient with your business.

And of course you learn the business through proper guidance with a company like the Wealthy Affiliates or Worldwide Brands – a company who is reputable and knows the business. Don’t get caught up in companies or people that just claim they know the business and don’t have a reputation for the business.

The next part of being time efficient with your internet business is making sure that you make the most out of your time each and every chance you get to work on your business. And you can do this by making sure that you have a plan that you can implement (Internet Marketing While Watching TV).

You need to make sure that you have a plan to implement so you do not catch yourself just sitting at your computer starring at the screen. Or something else that a lot of people do, just hang out in the forums and talk to people about the internet business. Just talking about the internet business is not going to make you money, you need to put a plan into action.

I know when I first started, I didn’t even notice that I wasn’t being time efficient with my business. And that’s the whole reason of this post. I want you to be aware of what you are doing with your time. Make extra sure that you pay attention to this, because it can be the difference between you quitting the business, or making this your full time job and being able to live the American dream.

The American dream of course being able to work from your own house in whatever clothes you want to where. Being able to wake up when you want, and being able to work when you want. Not having to answer to a boss, and even better, being your own boss. And lastly, being able to control your own income and being able to control your own fate.

And you can make this a possibility by being time efficient with your business. And making sure that you pay close attention to what you are doing with your time spent online.

Like I mentioned above, when I first started I didn’t even notice that I wasn’t being time efficient. I spent a lot of time just looking at the computer screen or just hanging out in the forums talking to other internet marketers (Forum Marketing The Right Way).

And don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with being in forums. But just make sure when you are in the forums you are being productive and not just talking to other marketers about random topics. Make sure you are talking about internet marketing, or discussing internet marketing topics that will actually help your online business.

The absolute best way to be time efficient is to actually write down a list of things that you need to get accomplished for either the day or the week. That way you have a list of things that you need to get done and you won’t be stuck just starring at the screen. And you would be surprised how many internet marketers get stuck just looking at the computer screen.

Even now I will catch myself not quite sure what to do next if I don’t have a list of things that I need to accomplish. Even now, after doing millions of dollars in sales on the internet, I will find myself not knowing what exactly to do if I don’t actually have something written down that I need to do. I will just sit and look at my screen or look at my accounts to see how much money I’ve made, or do other things that are unproductive. Because without a clear list of what needs to get done, I forget what I need to do. And I end up being unproductive (My Favorite Article Marketing Directories).

And like I said, it’s extremely important to be time efficient if you want to succeed in the internet business. We have very limited time, especially those of you who have another job that you have to work (for someone else, hopefully temporarily), to get what we need to get done.

Even if for some reason you do not have a list of things that you currently need to get done, you can always write articles or make forum posts for links or do some blog commenting. If I ever find myself in the position of NOT having a list of things to do for my current project – I will resort to starting some articles, article submissions, do forum posts for back links and traffic, or do some blog commenting.

You can never go wrong with getting some extra links, so you can always take this route if you don’t have a list of things that you need to get accomplished for whatever reason.

But please, take it from someone who has wasted a lot of his time in this business. When I first started, I didn’t even notice how much time I was wasting, just sitting at my screen (Indirect Back Linking For SEO).

And for some reason back then I thought that simply sitting at the computer was somehow helping my business. But you have to realize that just sitting at your computer is not going to help your business. I know it sounds extremely stupid that thinking just sitting at your computer can help your business, but when you are on the other end you aren’t thinking of it that way, which is why I am trying to bring this issue to your attention with this post.

If you are time efficient with your business you are going to have such an easier time finding success in this business. Because the work is never going to do itself. No matter how much time you spend at your computer, you need to make sure that you make the most out of that time and actually implement a plan when you are at the computer. Put a plan in action, and be as efficient with your business as possible!

What It Takes To Succeed Online

In this post I want to talk about an extremely important topic that is so misunderstood by so many people that enter this business, and it is not their fault that they misunderstand the concept of what exactly it takes to succeed in the make money online business; also known as internet marketing (Internet Marketing Tools I Use).

Before I go into what it takes to succeed online, I want to talk about why a lot of people do NOT succeed online.

First and foremost, the biggest reason that people do not succeed online is because they are misled. There are so many scams and people out there that will promise to teach you how to quickly and easily make money online, if you just pay a small fee to access their “top secret information”.

There are all sorts of tricks that these people will use in order to suck you in and get you to buy their product(s) – many of them you are probably even well aware that they are “tricks” yet you will still fall for them.

I’m talking about things like “the limited time price”. You know – if you don’t buy today the price is doubling! Or the other one – “time sensitive” material. You know – if you don’t buy now it’s not going to be available for you tomorrow (like they won’t take your money tomorrow? – come on now). Or another common one – that there are only 187, NO, make that 56, NO, make that only 3 copies left now! And if you don’t buy now they’re gone forever!

Any time you see this kind of stuff there is a very good chance that it’s a worthless product. Anyone who is selling you something of value doesn’t need to use these tactics to get you to buy their product – because word will spread that their product is the real deal (My Search Engine Optimization Tips).

Anyways, the reason I am blabbering on about all of this is because a lot of these people are trying to sell you the idea that you can quickly and easily make money online. And that’s just not the case. And because they give you this misconception, and because you have this conception in your head already – when you see that this is a business that actually takes work you will more than likely give up before you ever really get started.

Now that I covered why a lot of people do not succeed in this business, I want to talk about what it takes to succeed in the online marketing business…the whole reason for this whole post.

#1: Proper Guidance

One of the most important things that you are going to need to succeed in this business is proper guidance. You can succeed in this business without guidance as any thing is possible – but when you have someone who shows you exactly what you need to do to make money online and exactly what works it makes your job a WHOLE lot easier.

There are a couple companies that I recommend for proper guidance and there is one very good reason that I recommend these companies. And that reason is because they are the companies that were my guidance, and they were the companies that personally taught me this business (along with thousands of others).

The first of these companies is Wealthy Affiliate, who teach all around general internet marketing. And they cover EVERYTHING about internet marketing. Most people will only cover a select few areas or even just one very specific area of internet marketing. And that’s because most people are really good at one area of internet marketing, so that is what they teach.

But not Wealthy Affiliate, they cover EVERY aspect of internet marketing. They cover article marketing, forum marketing, writing content, copywriting, search engine optimization, link building, traffic building, blogging, keyword research and tons of other internet marketing areas. I mean you name it, and they cover it. And not only do they cover it, but they have heaps of information on it.

And it doesn’t stop there – they also provide tons of internet marketing tools that you can use totally for free as long as your are a member. AND they are extremely good at organizing and laying out the information in a way that is easy to understand, follow, and implement.

And that’s the reason why the Wealthy Affiliates are the leading teachers of the internet marketing business. They have literally taught thousands and thousands of people how to make a living in this business and their reputation precedes themselves.

One of the other companies that I recommend is Worldwide Brands. And the only reason I don’t recommend only Wealthy Affiliate is because Worldwide Brands covers a totally different part of the internet marketing business (I know I said Wealthy Affiliate covers everything – but this isn’t “totally” an area in internet marketing necessarily), which is drop shipping.

Worldwide Brands is the Wealthy Affiliate of the drop shipping business. Not only do they have the best list of drop shipping suppliers (at over 8,000) and the best list of drop shipping products (at over 8,000,000), but they also teach you the drop shipping business and they teach you how to succeed in the drop shipping business. They have tons of videos that teach you how to do so, and they do a great job at doing so.

It’s important to know that just because you have proper guidance does NOT mean you are going to succeed. Proper guidance only can take you so far. Proper guidance can only show you HOW to succeed online, it can NOT succeed for you or do the work for you.

So it’s important that you know just because you have the best guidance does NOT guarantee you success. YOU still have to put in the work and YOU still have to implement everything that they are teaching you and put it to work for your own online business. This is a business that takes work, and it does not come easily no how good of guidance you have.

With that said, proper guidance makes succeeding in this business so much easier and so much more likely, which is why I have it as my #1 for what it takes to succeed online (Doba)!

#2: A Will To Succeed

In order to succeed in this business, and I am talking about really succeeding in this business, not just making a few dollars, you are going to need a will to succeed. You HAVE to really want it.

When you have a will to succeed it gives you the will power to keep on moving forward no matter what happens.

#3: Dedication

In order to really succeed in this business, and again I am talking about making this your full time job and only job where you are making hundreds of thousands of dollars, you need to be dedicated.

You need to be dedicated because sometimes it can take a long time to start making money in this business.

I know people who worked for a good 2 to 3 years before they started seeing ANY type of income. And I know some people where it was a good 5 years before they started seeing any sort of decent income from this business.

They could have easily given up after not making money for so long – but they stuck with it. They had a will to succeed and they were dedicated. And trust me, it pays off if you stick with it because this is a very rewarding business (My Favorite Article Marketing Directories).

#3: Patience

As I mentioned above, sometimes it can take a long time to succeed in this business, which is why it takes a lot of patience to succeed in this business. You may have to wait a long time before you start seeing an income, and a lot of people don’t have this type of patience. If you have patience you will have a much greater chance of succeeding because you will hang in there a lot longer than someone without patience.

#4: Good Work Ethic

As you can probably tell by now, you have to have a good work ethic. A lot of people who enter this business are under the impression that they are going to be able to make quick and easy money – but this is totally untrue. This business takes a lot of work in order to find success (at least at first), so you have to have a good work ethic.

Because when you are first starting you are going to likely have your normal 9-5 job, and then you are going to have the internet marketing business on your free time.

So not only are you going to be working 8 hours a day at your normal job, but you’re then going to have to come home and do more work on your internet marketing business. And you will probably be seeing no money for a while.

So after working for 8 hours you are going to have to come home and work (and you will be seeing no immediate return for that work you are putting in most likely). And this is exactly why this business takes patience, determination, and a good work ethic (How I Do Article Marketing).

#5: Efficiency

In the internet marketing business, time is money. And when you are working a 9-5 job on top of working your internet marketing business especially – you are not going to have much time. So it’s extremely important that you make the most out of the time that you do have. You HAVE to be efficient with your time.

This means that when you are working on your online business you need to make sure you are getting the most out of what you are doing.

Don’t let yourself just hang out in forums or do things that are unproductive. Make sure you are as efficient with your time as possible, and make the most out of the little time that you may actually have to work on your online business.

#6: ReInvest

If you want to make real money in this business you have to be willing to reinvest in your business. Once you make a little bit of money you can’t just go out and spend it or just throw it in savings.

Be willing to put that money BACK into your business (Once An Article Is Submitted)!

I’m talking about things like buying tools that make your work a lot quicker. And buying tools that make your work a lot easier.

Or I’m talking about hiring people to do parts of your business for you like writing articles and submitting articles and other type of work that can easily be hired out.

Conclusion:

And that rounds off what it takes to succeed in this business, or at least what it took from me to succeed in this business. You have to have faith in yourself and faith in this business, and you have to be willing to put in the work in order to succeed. No one is going to do the work for you, and the work sure as heck is not going to do itself.

And please, please, please do not fall into the misconception that there is some easy and secret way to make money in this business.

I can personally guarantee you that the only way to really make money in the online business is to put in the work and put in the time. It’s not easy and it does take a lot of time and effort.

But I promise you that once you get there, it will be well worth it. And that’s because this business is extremely rewarding once you start making money.

That’s because once you start making money in this business, a lot of the time the income is automated. That means once you have a site setup that is bringing money in, it will keep bringing money in with little to no effort on your part. And that’s what I LOVE about this business (Beating Googles Panda Update).

You can work extremely hard for 5 years in this business to have an income of $100,000 a year, or $500,000 a year, or even $5,000,000 a year – and you can only be doing a couple hours of work a week. And that’s because like a said, a lot of the time your income will be automated once you actually start seeing money coming in!

Hopefully you understand the concept of this post and it helps you realize that this is a real business that takes real time and work in order to succeed. It’s not something that is going to be handed to you and you need to be prepared to put in the work in order to see success!

My Search Engine Optimization Tips

I want to focus this post on my search engine optimization tips, and the focus of this post is going to be on some different types of my search engine optimization techniques that you can use to go above and beyond what your competition is doing and what the usual competition for SEO is going to be doing.

I will be sharing some of my insider search engine optimization secrets that I am personally using myself to get my web sites to rank in the top of the search engines.

Before I get started, I want to credit Wealthy Affiliate University for teaching me just about everything that I know about search engine optimization, and really about internet marketing in general. Without the Wealthy Affiliates I would be no where near as successful as I am today. Of course I did the hard work myself, but without the proper guidance I would have had no idea what I was doing and I would probably have ended up not making money online and quitting the business.

Another company that taught me a lot about making money online is Worldwide Brands. Although they taught me a different part of they business. They taught me about the drop shipping end of the business and all about e-commerce and what not. I learned everything about wholesalers and suppliers and drop shipping products and selling drop shipping products on the internet.

These are my two favorite companies as far as learning the business – because I think they are the best at what they do. Wealthy Affiliate for teaching general internet marketing and Worldwide Brands for teaching the drop shipping business.

But it’s important to know that no matter how good a website or mentor is at teaching you this business – whether it be the drop shipping side of the general internet marketing side – you still have to do the work yourself in order to succeed. Because no matter how good of a teacher or system you have to teach you about making money online, and Wealthy Affiliate and Worldwide Brands really are the best in their respected areas, no teacher or system is going to be able to do the work for you or make the money for you. It’s just not possible (Using SEO To Increase Your Traffic).

So just because these two companies are so great at teaching the business doesn’t mean that you are guaranteed success because you are going to still have a lot of work ahead of you. They just make it a lot easier on you because they show you what you can do with your time to maximize your earning potential and have the best possible chances of making money on the internet.

With that said, lets move on to my search engine optimization tips that will help you rank ahead of your competition in the search engines.

The first thing that I start with is keyword research, which is of course what you should start with anytime you are beginning a project. This is before you even pick a domain name, because your domain name will be dependent on your keyword research also.

I have said it so many times on this site that keyword research is SO important (Why The Right Keywords Are SO Important), and probably one of the most important steps that you are going to do and probably the single most important thing for succeeding in this business. This is because if you have your keyword research wrong then the whole rest of your project could end up going down hill and being a total waste of time.

But I have made plenty of posts on the importance of keyword research and exactly why keyword research is so important, so if you haven’t read these posts you can check them out now. One of my favorites is Taking Your Time With Keyword Research.

Moving on, once I find the right keywords I will then look for the proper domain for my site to get started. If possible, it’s best to find an established site or an aged domain as this is MUCH better for search engine optimization reasons. There are so many people that will skip the step of looking for an aged or established domain and will just create a new one.

If you can find an aged or established domain that has your keywords, it’s well worth grabbing it if it’s fairly cheap, trust me. It has extreme search engine optimization benefits, and this is probably one of the easiest things you can do to get your site ranking higher and quicker almost immediately – and almost no one does it which is crazy. This is definitely one of my most effective yet easiest search engine optimization tips that I implement.

Next, I will start building the site. And how I do this depends on what type of website it is. If it’s a website that focuses on adsense, I will usually hire someone to write articles, with the topics being my keywords that I have chosen through my keyword research (Once An Article Is Submitted).

When it’s an adsense site I try to have 10 keywords, which means I get 10 articles written – and I like to make them between 750-1,000 words in length. And I like to make sure they are good articles written by a good writer, because this is going to be the content for my website for a long time to come – so it should be good, no, make that great content.

If it’s a site that I am doing a review of a product, where I will be doing affiliate marketing, I like to do it myself. You can still have someone else do it for you if you’d like – but for some reason I just feel more comfortable doing actual reviews myself.

I guess this is because I think a lot of people you hire will just base the review off of other reviews. I like actually buying the product, and giving a good honest review of the product so that’s it’s a REAL review and so that it’s an accurate review.

Once the site is done, and it doesn’t matter if it’s an adsense site, a review of a product, or another type of site – I will then make sure that all of my on page search engine optimization is on point. You can learn more about Getting On Page SEO Right with that post so I do not have to explain everything about what you need to do in order to get your on page optimization working for you.

If you have not read that post about getting on page SEO right I recommend that you do so (of course if you do not already know how to handle on page optimization yet). This is because on page SEO is extremely important for getting your website to rank in the top of the search engines for your keywords.

Once all of my on page optimization is all down, and only when my on page SEO is down, I will then move on the the off page optimization part which is pretty much the stage of building links.

Now how I approach this depends on whether I purchased an aged or established domain or not. If I have not – I will take the process a lot slower so that I do not have too many links building too quickly. I will be covering the process for a new domain as this is what most people do like I said before (although you should get into the habit of changing this habit when possible).

The first thing that I like to do is get some articles out. I start with a few articles to EzineArticles.com to start as they are by far the most well respected article site. Again I like to personally hire out for my article writing because I believe this is a time consuming aspect of your business that you can easily have someone else do for you much more cost effectively than you can personally do yourself. And this allows you to focus on other aspects of getting your site to rank (checkout Outsourcing Your Article Writing).

You can also actually hire them to actually submit your articles along with writing them for not much more, and this is recommended too if you can afford it. The further you get into your internet marketing career, the more you make, and the more you can outsource. And with this, the quicker you can make more money and the quicker you can expand your business.

If you stick to doing everything yourself all the time, you are going to have a lot of trouble making a lot of money online, as this business is about investing back into your business and having people do a lot of the work for you at cost efficient prices where you can make profits.

Now after I submit a few articles to EzineArticles.com – and of course I submit articles with the same titles written differently so the articles also have a chance of ranking for the keywords, and it gives a good relevant backlink – I will then start the bookmarking process. I will bookmark each page of the site with Social Bookmarking Demon, and I will also bookmark the EzineArticles I write with Bookmarking Demon (you can learn about the tools I use with Internet Marketing Tools I Use).

After all of this is done I will then start submitting some articles to some of the other large article sites. And I WILL submit to article directories that are NO FOLLOW. A lot of people will only submit to do follow article directories because they think no follow links are a waste of time but I totally disagree. I personally think it’s healthy SEO to build a mix of no follow and do follow links right from the beginning.

One of my favorite no follow directories to submit to is ArticleBase.com because their articles seem to rank extremely high in the search engines – and they are a great article directory.

Some of the other places that I will start submitting to include GoArticles.com, Squidoo.com (which is one of my favorites as they are very powerful and do follow), HubPages.com, USFreeAds.com (very powerful also but NO FOLLOW links), ArticleDashBoard.com, ArticleCity.com and a few other select few.

After manually submitting to some of these I will of course bookmark them all with social bookmarking demon.

I think it’s important to note that everytime I submit an article, lens, hub or any other form of material – I save the URL in a text file. I do this because I will link to my other articles and lenses and whatnot in my others. Doing this gets your articles and lenses and hubs and everything else more power to rank in the search engines and more link juice as it increases the chance of that increasing in page rank.

It’s important that you do this (link to other articles and lenses in other articles and lenses) because it’s a simple thing that takes no more than an extra minute to do and has tons of benefits that will help you more than you know (Inter Linking Pages For SEO).

While doing this I will also try to join a good 5 – 10 do follow forums that are as close to my niche as possible, and forums that allow signatures with links. I try to make a good 5 posts to each of these forums, as this is a great way to get back links and possible immediate traffic to your site. People don’t understand just how powerful forum marketing can be. I have made in the $100,000′s from forum marketing alone – so don’t underestimate it!

Now remember that I do all of this slowly as you do not want to build too many links to quickly as this can actually hurt you. Once about a month has gone by I will fire up the big guns and start executing Unique Article Wizard (which I talked about in the post Internet Marketing Tools I Use which I linked to above).

To recap UAW really quickly, it’s a service that can take an article and turn it into hundreds of unique articles and hundreds of unique links with about 10 minutes of your time. It’s important that since you’re going to be building so many links only a month into your domains execution that your set UAW to run between 10-20 articles per day. It’s set on 50 a day, which is good if you have an aged domain, but for a newer domain 10-20 will do – especially if you are submitting multiple articles to them.

I like to submit about 3 after the first month, another 5 a couple weeks later, than 10 more 2 months in. This will give you a good 1,000 – 2,000 unique articles and a good 1,000 – 2,000 unique back links in only a month to two months time! And from this you can probably start to see why this is one of my favorite tools to use, it is just so powerful.

From here I will check on my keyword rankings again (I should have mentioned this before – check on your keyword rankings every couple weeks). I personally use Market Samurai to check the rankings of my keywords, as with the push of a button you can see exactly where you rank for your keywords (Digging Deep For Great Keywords).

Where you rank for your keywords has a lot to do with what is going to be coming up next for you. Hopefully a lot of you will be ranked in the top of the search engines for your keywords by now – and you should if you are doing proper keyword research for keywords that are not too competitive. Because as a fairly new internet marketer you should not be going after keywords that are too competitive.

And if you are not at or near the top of the search engines after about 3 months of doing the stuff above, you may have not done the proper keyword research (and you could have wasted your time that 3 months – which is the reason why I tell you keyword research is so important – you could waste a whole bunch of your time).

And this is where you need to decide if you are going to further your project or not. If your keywords are not in the top 100 by now I would say definitely abandon the project (of course this is your choice though). Because if you are not in the top 100 by now you have a LOT of work ahead of you that may not be worth it, or any where near worth it.

If you are in the top 50 I would say it may be worth proceeding, but I would do some more research to see how much more it’s going to take or how much more you think it’s going to take at least (Google Caffeine). It’s really important that you really take a good look at how much more it’s going to take to rank in the top of the search engines and if it’s worth it.

I know it’s SUPER hard to abandon a project once you have put in so much work, and you’re probably not going to want to, but if you’re not ranking in the top 100 by the 3 month mark (if you have done everything I told you to) then you seriously need to consider it.

Now if you are very close to the top of the search engines, or you are at the top of the search engines and want to make sure you stay there of course there are other things that you can do to make sure that these things happen.

The first thing that you can do is more of what you have already been doing – this is going to help you rank higher more and more over time.

You may also do other things, such as video submissions (with links back to your site), blog commenting, profile linking, link pyramids, profile link pyramids, blog commenting, link exchanging, link buying, and other regular search engine techniques.

I also have some very personal techniques that I use to rank at the top of the search engines for really competitive keywords – but I’m not going to share them here and I haven’t decided if I’m going to even share them at all yet as they are super powerful.

You have to understand that there are just some things that need to be kept to yourself, so I can’t share absolutely ALL of my best secrets. But one thing I will guarantee you is that if you implement the things that I have written above, you WILL rank at the top of the search engines and you WILL make money on the internet – IF you have done your keyword research right (Top 5 Ways to Promote Your Website). And IF you have gone after keywords that are not too competitive.

And I want to add that you do NOT need the tools that I use in order to succeed – they help, but they are NOT needed. There are plenty of alternatives that are either a LOT cheaper or even free.

For example a good free alternative to Social Bookmarking Demon is the site SocialMonkee.com – which bookmarks the URL of your choice for free. You can only do one a day and it does 25 bookmarks for the free version, but this is plenty for you and it still works. And of course there are also other alternatives, probably even better alternatives, you just have to look around for them.

And as for a Unique Article Wizard alternative there’s not really anything that can replace UAW because they are the best in the business, but there are plenty of tools out there that can make creating and submitting unique articles a whole lot easier! You just have to look around (The Importance of Unique Content).

One place I highly recommend keeping an eye out for and in is the Warrior Forum. This is an awesome FREE forum that you can get a TON of information through. And they have a WSO section where you can get priceless internet marketing tools for SUPER cheap. So check them out and keep an eye out in the WSO section for like tools that will help your business.

Internet Marketing Tools I Use

In this post I want to talk about some of the internet marketing tools that I personally use, and exactly how I use them, and what they do for me. Before doing that I want to recommend Wealthy Affiliate for anyone that is looking to either learn internet marketing or improve their internet marketing skills or business. They have taught me pretty much everything that I know about this business and a lot of the tools that I use are contained within their members area.

And I also want to quickly mention Worldwide Brands as they are the company that taught me all about drop shipping, which is also an essential part of making money online. Drop shipping and general internet marketing basically go together hand in hand – which is why I want to mention the both of them. They can both create equal opportunities as far as being able to make money online – and they are both important to know in order to expand your knowledge in this business.

Now I want to move on to some of the internet marketing tools that I use.

Some of the tools I use are free tools and some of the tools I use are paid tools. Some of them I use very, very seldomly and some of them I use on a daily basis. I am mostly going to be covering tools that I use often. I will try to cover as many of the tools that I use as possible, but I use a good amount of them so it may be hard to remember all of them especially when I use some of them very seldomly (5 Important Free Internet Marketing Tools).

But I will definitely be covering all of the main tools that I am using so that if you are looking to get some sort of guidance on what internet marketing tools are worth using. Because I guarantee you that if I am having success with these internet marketing tools that you can find success with them too.

I am not a smart guy and I do not have any particular really good skill. The only really good skill that I possess is the fact that I am a hard worker and I do not give up. I have the determination to have a life of financial freedom and be my own boss. So I keep working no matter what. I keep at it and I keep trying and keep trying no matter what.

With that said I will now start going into what internet marketing tools I am using exactly and how exactly I am using them and what exactly they do for me. Again I will be focusing on the larger tools that I use the most and the tools that I believe do the most for me.

Tool #1: Unique Article Wizard (UAW)

Unique Article Wizard is more of a service rather than a tool, but it is also considered a tool. And it is probably my most powerful and most effective tools that I use and I’m going to tell you why.

First of all it takes an article and it turns that article into possibly hundreds of different unique articles. Not only does it turn a single article into hundreds of unique articles but it also submits it to hundreds of different unique directories. And by Unique Article Wizard submitting the unique articles to unique directories, this gives you a back link each time a different unique version of the article is submitted to a different article directory (3 Largest Internet Marketing Mistakes).

Although I said it takes an original “single” article and turns it into possibly hundreds of unique articles, it actually makes you turn a single article into 3 versions. What you have to do is enter your original article into the Unique Article Wizard and then re-write each paragraph two different types. What this does is actually create 3 different articles, which makes it much easier to make unique versions of your original article.

What I will do in order to make the process quicker is just have an article writer write 3 very like articles. That way I just skip step 2 of re-writing the paragraphs and just copy and paste the articles in step 5. That way it takes about 10 minutes to fill out everything and within 10 minutes of work I have hundreds of unique articles and hundreds of unique back links.

This is by far my favorite tool that has easily given me tens of thousands of links and unique articles. I highly recommend it if you can afford it at $67 a month. It’s definitely my favorite tool that I use right now.

Tool #2: Market Samurai

Market Samurai is a tool that does a ton of different VERY useful things – mostly researching. And I don’t know how much of my blog you keep up with – but if you are someone that does keep up with my blog you have read how important I think, no – actually make that how much I KNOW that doing the proper research helps you make a living on the internet.

You can read one of my more recent posts on how important keyword research is specifically with the post Taking Your Time With Keyword Research.

One of the tools within Market Samurai that I use the most is the tool called “Rank Tracker” and it’s an absolutely awesome tool.

What Rank Tracker does is allows you to enter in lists of keywords and URLs, and it will show you where those keywords rank for those specific URLs. I use this tool to easily and quickly keep track of where my keywords are ranking.

They also have a keyword research tool that I use every once in a while, that of course does keyword research and does a very well job.

The other tools that round off Market Samurai are the following: SEO Competition Tool, Domains Tool, Monetization Tool, Find Content Tool, Publish Tool, Promotion Tool, and an Adwords Tool that has been in the works for a while.

The most useful out of the tools that round off Market Samurai is the SEO Competition tool, as it allows you to analyze the top 10 sites for whatever keyword you choose. You can research what the top 10 sites are doing in order to rank for the keywords you are looking into (Digging Deep For Great Keywords).

Tool #3: Social Bookmarking Demon

Social Bookmarking Demon is definitely a super powerful tool as it enables you to very quickly and easily bookmark URLs. I use this tool nearly every single day, and it takes about 15-20 to implement for each URL for me. You can easily spend much less time on each URL by only choosing bookmarking sites that don’t require a captcha.

That way you can just run the program and not worry about having to enter in all of the captchas. Because the captchas are what takes the longest part. And you do have the option to only use social bookmarking sites that do not require any captchas – so it will make your submissions much quicker.

I personally like doing all of the social bookmarking sites and entering the captchas as I think it’s well worth the effort. People may agree or disagree, but whatever the case is – Social Bookmarking Demon can help you increase the rankings of your site enormously (How Bookmarking Increases Traffic).

I think the biggest reason this tool is so effective because the search engines absolutely love social bookmarking nowadays. And Bookmarking Demon just makes it so easy to quickly and easily pump out tons of different bookmarks to a bunch of different bookmarking sites.

Tool #4: Blog Commenting Demon

Blog Commenting Demon is actually made by the same people that made Social Bookmarking Demon (Edwin Soft is the company name). Although I do not like Blog Commenting Demon as much as I like Social Bookmarking Demon, it is still a very useful tool.

It’s not nearly as effective as it was in the past because of the way the search engines are changing, but it still can get you some quality back links by easily finding blogs that you can comment on. I wouldn’t worry about buying this tool if you have not already got the other important tools – but if you have the others this one wouldn’t hurt to add to the list.

Tool #5: Google’s Keyword Tool

This is the single best keyword tool there is in my opinion and I use it tons. And the best thing is that it’s 100% free. You never will have to pay a dime for this tool (Top 5 Ways to Get Free Traffic).

What I like most about this tool is that it comes right from Google, so in my opinion it gives the most accurate keyword results out of any tool – which is another one of the reasons why I use it.

What beats a tool that is free and probably as close as it gets to the real keyword results?

Tool #6: Wealthy Affiliate Tools

Although this is listed as a single tool, there are actually multiple tools in the Wealthy Affiliate University members area. I just wanted to list it as a single tool because if I listed all of the tools it would make this post go on forever.

There is probably a good 15 tools or so in the Wealthy Affiliates members area and they range from everything from website builders to keyword research to SEO tools to article spinning tools to everything else.

You could literally get away with using just Wealthy Affiliate tools and never buying any other tools. Not saying that other tools like UAW and Social Bookmarking Demon won’t help you a ton – but the tools within Wealthy Affiliate alone can lead you right down the road to success (Doba).

Conclusion:

A lot of people in this business do not understand that this is a business that does not really require skill. Rather it requires more of determination, will power, and working smart and efficiently.

And working smart and efficiently means investing back into your business. By investing back in your business, I am talking about putting money into things that are going to automate your business, or at least make a lot of the things that you do a lot easier.

And that is exactly what a lot of the tools that I use do, they make what internet marketers do to rank their websites a whole lot easier. The more you can either automate or semi-automate the whole process of getting your sites to rank or whatever method you are using to make money on the internet, the quicker you can succeed with your current project(s) and move on to the next.

And the quicker you can move on to the next, the quicker you can make MORE money. The best internet marketers understand this and they invest in their business by doing two things (Getting On Page SEO Right).

They invest money back in their business by BUYING TOOLS that either automate or semi-automate the process of running their business. And the second thing they do is invest money back into their business by OUTSOURCING.

They hire people to do busy work that is more profitable paying someone else to do so that you can do the more important things in your business!

Once An Article Is Submitted

Some people would say that writing an article and submitting it is the easy part although this is not totally true. This is because different people are good at different things, and different people are willing to do different things in order to achieve success.

For me, writing and submitting an article would be the easy part, except that the keyword research thrown in makes it a little tougher. Not necessarily tougher, but because keyword research is just so important, it makes it tougher; in a way.

You see, as I mentioned in my article “Mixing Keyword Research And Article Marketing“, the keyword research is probably one of the most important steps of making money on the internet, if not the most important step, because if you get the keywords wrong then your whole project can go to waste from there.

If you have not read that article or you do not want to read that post, then I will go over what I am talking about really quickly.

The whole point is, if your keyword research is wrong, you could literally waste the whole project. If you waste your whole project, that means all of your time and money spent on that project was wasted. Needless to say, that’s time and money that could have been spent on a successful project. And you can literally spend years on a single project, although it’s usually a matter of anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months.

Because of all of this it’s extremely important that you start Taking Your Time With Keyword Research.

I know that’s it’s annoying getting down to the nitty gritty with your keyword research and sometimes spending an entire day doing keyword research. And it’s so boring at times, as you have to keep looking into the same old boring numbers and information.

Trust me I know myself that there is nothing more boring than research, and that includes keyword research.

BUT, you have to remember the fact that if your keyword research is off – if you have “bad” keywords – then your whole project will be wasted. All of the time and money you spent will be wasted, and remember that it could possibly be months or even years of work wasted.

This is an extremely important aspect to remember if you are going to succeed in this business. It’s very important to take advantage of all of your time that you have and make sure you maximize every single second spent working. And if you do no keyword research, I guarantee you that you are minimizing every single second spent working.

With that said, a lot of people don’t do keyword research and it’s a huge mistake. They figure that they can just “wing it” and pick good keywords off the top of their head, but nothing beats the facts of research. And nothing beats the facts in the research. Well I am guaranteeing you that not only is the time spent keyword researching worth it (like you may think it’s NOT worth it) – but it’s worth it times 100, especially if done correctly (Digging Deep For Great Keywords).

So once you DO KEYWORD RESEARCH, then write the article, then submit the article…then what’s to do?

Well again, most people do the minimum amount of work necessary, which is why most people do not succeed in this business. You have to be willing to do the work that most other people aren’t willing to do every time (like keyword research AND what I’m about to tell you about after submitting an article).

Most people simply submit the article to a good directory like ezinearticles.com and simply HOPING that it ranks in the top of the search engines. Sometimes they will get lucky and and their articles will rank in the top spot every once in a while (I guarantee you they’d get luckier a lot more often if they did their keyword research though). And they could get even luckier if they took it a step further.

There are a few things that I do once an article is submitted, and that’s the whole point of this post – so that’s what we are going to be focusing on for the rest of this post.

The first thing that I do is I ping the article. And there is a very easy way to ping stuff – and I’m going to show you right now. It’s as easy as hitting a single button, no more having to copy and paste URLs into ping sites and pinging and all that, just hitting a simple button (Why The Right Keywords Are SO Important).

So here’s how you do it. You copy the following code into the “Location” area of a bookmark. I save the bookmark as “Ping”, which is probably a good idea for you also. Then of course when you hit bookmark, and then ping, it will ping whatever page you are on automatically. And here the code is:

Again you just want to copy that code into the Location area of a bookmark, and name it Ping or something that lets you know it’s for pinging. Then again, whenever you’re on a page you want to ping, just go to bookmarks, ping. And it will automatically ping it for you, it’s as easy as that.

Make sure that every time you publish an article you ping it. And do so by this easy method to save yourself a bunch of time. Because remember that this business is all about using your time as wisely as possible. You have to make the most out of all of your time, and shortcuts like this are the difference between making lots of money and making just a little bit of money.

The next thing that I will do is throw my article URL into Social Bookmarking Demon and fire that sucker up. Social Bookmarking Demon is a tool that automatically bookmarks URLs for you, and it does it quickly and efficiently. The only thing that you have to do is enter the captchas – so it’s really quick.

If you did all of the work that Bookmarking Demon does for you in 2o minutes, it would probably take you a whole day, if not more. It’s well worth using, as the search engines lover bookmarking and it will definitely give your article an edge.

If you can’t afford Social Bookmarking Demon right now, I recommend just bookmarking your article manually to a few different of the most popular bookmarking sites. I’m talking about sites like Digg, Stumble Upon, LinkedIn, etc. It’s good to get your article out there to at least a few bookmarking sites to help it rank better.

The next thing that I do is enter the article into Unique Article Wizard. Now I’m guessing that most of you don’t have Unique Article Wizard (UAW) as it’s expensive, at $67 a month. But it’s well worth it if you can afford it (The Effect Of The Recession On Internet Marketing).

So what exactly does UAW do? Well it takes your article and submits it to hundreds of different article directories. But the best thing is that it submits UNIQUE VERSIONS of your article to each of these different directories.

So not only do you have the opportunity to get thousands of visitors with each UAW submission (as it’s submitting hundreds of unique articles all over the web), but you also will get a couple hundred different back links. This is absolutely huge for ranking high in the search engines – and it doesn’t take long at all.

So lets go over what I do once again once an article is submitted…

1) Ping the article with my special bookmarking code to make it super quick.

2) Enter the URL into Social Bookmarking Demon to get the article to about a hundred different social bookmarking sites quickly and efficiently.

3) Enter in the article into Unique Article Wizard to get hundreds of unique versions of the article out to hundreds of different article directories. This gives you hundreds of unique back links, and the potential for hundreds of thousands of visitors to your site.

Remember that most people simply wing it with their article title, write the article, and then submit it. From there they just hope for good rankings (What Wholesalers Are And Why They Exist).

The more you do to make sure your articles rank at the top of the search engines, the more chance you have of your articles doing so. And you doing more work than your competitors makes sure that you are out doing them and ranking ahead of them.

And it takes very little time to do these extra things. If you have the right tools it only takes a little bit of time and is well worth it.

I know a lot of you can’t afford these tools, but tools like this are what helps you get ahead of the competition. So my recommendation is to work extra hard – and once you do start making money you invest that money back into your business. And you invest that money back into your business by buying tools like Bookmarking Demon and a membership to Unique Article Wizard.

Hopefully this article shows you just how important it is to go the extra mile (or I should say the extra foot in this case as it’s not even much more work) in order to succeed in this business.

Mixing Keyword Research And Article Marketing

The last post that I made was about How I Do Article Marketing, which was a detailed post on exactly what I personally do to make article marketing work for me. For those of you who already know at least a little bit about article marketing, or if you have a little bit of experience working with article marketing – then you probably know just how powerful article marketing can be.

For those of you who do not know about the power of article marketing, it is tremendous. Not only can it bring a ton of traffic to your site, and targeted traffic at that which can turn into thousands and thousands of dollars, but articles can also bring you so many back links and give you tons of “credit” with the search engines (My Favorite Article Marketing Directories). This is why article marketing is so powerful, because with the traffic and link building combined it’s one of the most powerful forms of internet marketing that is available today.

I would go as far to say that article marketing is up there with things such as Web 2.0 and social bookmarking – and these are methods which are taking over the internet. The search engines absolutely love web 2.0 and social bookmarking because it’s tons of updated content and interactions of people. Even with these facts, I still believe article marketing is as powerful as web 2.0 and social bookmarking, as long as you do it right – which I will be explaining shortly.

Now before I did the post on How I Do Article Marketing, which I linked to above in the first paragraph if you would like to revisit, I also did a post on Taking Your Time With Keyword Research. With this post I described just how important keyword research is, and why taking your time with keyword research is such an important step in making money on the internet.

I basically stated that keyword research is probably the most important step in making money on the internet, above every other thing. This includes link building, traffic generation, content creation and updating, search engine optimization, and all of the other important aspect of making money on the internet. And there are SO many important aspects of making money online. Even with all of the important aspects I put keyword research as THE single most important step to making money.

A lot of that has to do with the fact that if you get your keywords wrong, or if you do your keyword research the wrong way, then you will have wasted a whole bunch of your time no matter how good you do everything else like search engine optimization, link building, content creation and updating, and everything else. You can find out exactly why this is by re-visiting the post on taking your time with keyword research – as it’s a really important process to understand in order to be successful in this business.

Now I wanted to combine these two aspects of this business, being that they are two of the most important parts of succeeding in the internet marketing business, especially for beginner and novice internet marketers (All About The Affiliate Marketing Business). This is true because it’s not only one of the most powerful forms of internet marketing and getting traffic, but it also takes little to no investment. And this is a great thing for those of you who have made little to no money in this business and have little to no money to invest back in the business currently. And this is why I have made this post on Mixing Keyword Research And Article Marketing.

As stated before, keyword research is THE most important of making money in this business, because if you don’t have your keywords right then everything else will follow downhill with it. All of the work you do after picking the wrong keywords will essentially be a total waste of time in most cases, and this can be weeks, months and even years of work in some cases. Obviously this is something you do not want to happen, which is why you want to get your keyword research right – and TAKE YOUR TIME (which is exactly why I made the post Taking Your Time With Keyword Research as it’s really that important).

Now doing keyword research for a website you are going to be building and working on and doing keyword research for article marketing are two different things.

When you are doing keyword research for a website that you are going to be doing, you can go after more competitive keywords with more traffic (and more competition of course). When doing keyword research for articles that you will be writing you need to go after keywords with less traffic and less competition.

This is because the point of article marketing, for the most part, is to get your article ranked at the top of the search engines for your given keyword(s) with little to no work on optimizing the article (building links and whatnot). The main objective to article marketing is to do your keyword research, write the article, and have the article ranking in the top position within a week or so (All About The Affiliate Marketing Business).

From there you want to be getting as many visitors to your article as possible, because your article will have a backlink back to your website (or other form of monetization). In order to get as much traffic as possible you need to pick the right keywords.

As I mentioned before, doing keyword research for articles and for website are two different things. You can definitely go after much more competitive keywords with much more traffic when doing keyword research for your websites.

But when doing keyword research for your article keywords, you are going after keywords with much less traffic and much less competition. This is because the objective is to use the power of the article directory site to have your article rank on its own without any other work on your part as far as link building and other forms of search engine optimization.

So you want to be able to do your keyword research and find the right keyword(s). Write an article targeting that or those keywords with the keywords in the title and in the body of the article. You want a keyword density of about 2% or so, give or take. From there of course you want to make sure that you include a link back to your site or blog or whatever you are linking back to with the keywords as your anchor text (Some Internet Marketing Secrets).

Now you want your article to be able to rank in the number 1 position without really having to do anything else. And in order for this to happen you need to have done the right keyword research and you need to have written a good article with the keywords in the title and body.

Now there is all different kinds of advice out there on how to find the write keywords for your article marketing. A lot of people will suggest that once you find your keywords you put them in quotes and make sure that you do not get more than 5,000 results with the keywords in quotes (in Google). And I think this is a pretty good way to judge if you got a keyword that is within your reach.

I usually like to take it a step further and take a look at the top ranking sites really quick. You can do this with a tool called Market Samurai, as this is an awesome tool that does everything. Or if you don’t have this you can simply take a look at a few of the top ranking sites for your given keyword(s). You want to look for things such as keywords in the domain and title, age of domain, keywords on the site, and page rank (Indirect Back Linking For SEO).

Of course the lower page rank the better, the younger the domain the better, if the keywords are not in title and domain that’s better, and if the keywords are barely on the site, that’s better. You are looking for all of the advantages you can get when ranking for your keywords. This is because you are doing little to no work in order to rank for you keywords.

Now most people will do just as I mentioned earlier. They will simply do the keyword research, write the article, and hope that the power of the article directory and the mix of little competition is enough for them to rank at the top spot, or at the very least on the first page.

A lot of people will actually just wing it and write articles without doing keyword research on keywords that they think are good. Don’t do this – you will waste your time and get very little return for your work. Take the time to do the keyword research as it’s well worth it. There are articles out there that have got over a MILLION VISITORS! And I guarantee you they did this with proper keyword research and by writing a great article.

Again, most people will have anything more working for them than the power of the article directory. Depending on just how much competition there is for the keyword I will sometimes do a little extra to get the article to rank.

I have a tool called Bookmarking Demon that is really powerful – it automatically bookmarks given URLs with the push of a button to over a hundred different places. You do have to enter captcha, but it does basically all the work for you. It’s really an awesome tool with a onetime fee.

I like to sometimes add the article in Bookmarking Demon and fire it up. This will give me a bunch of backlinks and juice as I mentioned before, because the search engines absolutely love web 2.0 and social bookmarking. So this is an awesome way to get your article some help getting to the top (Differences Between Pages And Posts).

Of course there are other ways, but I don’t recommend taking too much time in “helping” your article rank – as you want to be able to move on to the next keyword and the next article without spending too much time on the previous one. This is why I recommend that if you are going to “help” your article rank at the top of the search engines that you use automated methods such as with tools like Bookmarking Demon.

Now hopefully this post on Mixing both keyword research and article marketing together helps you get the most out of both of these very important aspect of internet marketing and succeeding in the business of online marketing. If you use this information you can really increase the amount of traffic that you get to both your articles and your websites.

I recommend Wealthy Affiliate first as it will teach you the first steps of what you need to know in this business, and then follow up that membership once you learn general internet marketing and begin making money.

Don’t join both at once if you are a beginner as you will just get lost in the shuffle and it will be too much information for you. Just start with the Wealthy Affiliates and make sure that you spend a whole lot of time consuming all of the information they give you – as they offer a WHOLE LOT of information in their members area. So read it, re-read it, and make sure they you comprehend the information and implement it into your business!
